The bad part about selling Avon is that you just can't resist such cute items such as this adorable Christmas apron!  (BTW, if anyone would like to have a matching apron, let me know--they're on sale for $9.99!)

Learning to put down floors!

Marianna hard at work....

I'm not sure if Lea's confused or just plain exhausted! ;)

Very happy about the way my room is turning out! (BTW, the wall color is a lot prettier in person! The picture distorts the color...)

I think my dad thinks we're boys. ;)

A pretty view out in the country...

Babysitting... :)

Joshua and I....

Aren't they cute?!?

What a great big brother!

Dad with his daughters. :)

My lovely parents. :)

Dad's one happy guy!

Dad's b-day dinner.

Yup, that's Italian! :D

This is about as much of a fall tree as you'll see in Texas. ;)

You can see the beauty of God's handiwork even in the Lowe's parking lot!

Mrs. Howard came and spoke at our girls class,  VOH (Vessels of Honor)

Meeting up with some friends....

Marianna and I...

Family day trip!
Mom and Dad in front, Rebecca, Lea, me and Marianna in back.

Our most recent VOH lesson, our friend Theron came and showed us how to change tires! What a great life skill to know!

me and Andrea taking a stab at it. ;)

Poor Theron must feel a little out of place here! ;) Especially when talking about knitting needles and skirts! lol

L-R: Moriah, Rachel, Marianna and Heidi....

L-R: Lea, Gracie, Hannah and Anna...

Marianna playing Guesstures...

And, Theron playing Guesstures.... :)

Here we are at the Chinese Mission. Marianna teaches the junior high/highschool girls about Christianity and Godly living. However, this particular night, we celebrated a birthday and made b-day hats!

The girls opening their b-day gifts...

Marianna teaching the lesson....

Alex's hat!

We were just having a bit too much fun with these hats. ;)

Last month we went to a family camp! What a fun time we all had and such an encouragement being around so many like-minded families.

Packing....I went from organized.....

...to very disorganized...

Lea and I on our way up there....

Marianna and Aaress setting up the tent...

Our friends, The Hulinaters! They won the VB championship there!

Mom and Dad....

Mom, Dad and I....

I think this was the oldest sibs vs. younger sibs tug o' war

Poor Rebecca got a bad bite of some kind (probably a spider) and could barely walk on it! Thankfully we had two nice guys help and bandage it up for her....

Waiting in line....me, Rebecca, Lea, mom and dad.

(And this photo above, taken by my mom.) :)

A few days after camp, Lea, Marianna and I left again for Dallas Texas to go a Revival conference at the Gospel for Asia Headquarters.  What a refreshing time is was for us all spiritually! We heard some amazing sermons and met some wonderful people.  Maybe one day soon I'll have to share a little more about it all!

  1. Oh my goodness! I thought I'd never find the comment box! haha! Lots of pictures and beautiful memories! :) I was wondering how you all were doing with the new home that you're building. It looks so beautiful!! Ah, that's my dream home! hehe!
Thanks for the comments on my blog; it's been awhile since we last talked. I just added you on my new Facebook. After I came back from Ellerslie, I was unsure about keeping my FB or not (because it can be a huge distraction), but I decided to keep it only because that's the only contact I have with a few of my out-of-state family-friends.
Ellerslie was nothing short of amazing and life-changing. The Lord's blessings are all over that place and the staff there. I pray that you are able to go next year! That would be so incredibly exciting! The Lord changed my life (And my family's life through me from being up there) dramatically while I was there. I'm hoping, once my college semester is over next month, to blog about some of my memories from Ellerslie. I have some pictures on my FB that you can look through. :-)
I pray the Lord's grace over your week!
    In His name,
    Erika

  2. Thanks so much for adding me on FB, Erika! I so enjoyed seeing your pictures from Ellerslie. Wow, it looks and sounds like such a wonderful life changing time spiritually! Eric and Leslie Ludy are such inspirations. Thanks so much for sharing with me a little more about it. I hope I'll be able to go next summer if it's the Lord's will!

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

  3. Yeah, I hope to put more photos up soon. There's just an overwhelming amount of pictures. haha!
I hope that you are able to go next summer, too. It was worth every dollar to go there. It's like honeymooning with Jesus. :-) The Lord helped me to overcome so many hindrances in my life there and really strengthened me and increased my desires for Him. Also, the entire campus is such an amazing, peaceful environment. It really felt like my second home and I miss it a lot, as well as my Ellerslie-family.
Have you been to any of the Ludy's conferences before? And have you listened to any of Eric Ludy's sermons online?

  4. Oh, that sounds so beautiful and wonderful! I'm really hoping the Lord would provide so I'll be able to go! I've heard so many wonderful things about that place. :)

I haven't been to any of the Ludy's conferences, however, I've really wanted to but just haven't been able to yet! :(

I have heard some of Eric's sermons online. Everything I've heard from him and Leslie have been excellent!
