I can't believe it's been close to four months since I last posted! I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but life has been anything but slow! Every time I thought of doing a new blog post, I didn't know where to begin because I had so much to say, so I would just end up putting it off..... that is, until now. :) So, yes, here I am--finally! I still don't know where to start, actually, and I have so much I want to say, and pictures to post, but I'm afraid time doesn't allow for all I wish it could! But I'll try to cram as much as I can into this post before I have to leave.
Anyway, life has been good, sad, busy, stressful, and joyful, but through it all the Lord is faithful! I'm learning to take one step at a time holding my Savior's Hand knowing that He will guide me every step of the way through life. I have to often remind myself that His timing is perfect, His plans are perfect, and that His ways are perfect. How often do we (at least I) seem to forget that when I try to focus on my problems instead of surrendering them all to the Lord.
One beautiful song I've been thinking of quite often and one that is very apropos to me right now is "He's Always Been Faithful" by Sarah Groves.
Morning by morning I wake up to find
The power and comfort of God’s hand in mine
Season by season I watch Him, amazed
In awe of the mystery of His perfect ways
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.
I can’t remember a trial or a pain
He did not recycle to bring me gain
I can’t remember one single regret
In serving God only, and trusting His hand
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.
This is my anthem, this is my song
The theme of the stories I’ve heard for so long
God has been faithful, He will be again
His loving compassion, it knows no end
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me
I also wanted to share with you all a very cool story of something the Lord did for me recently!
I was feeling quite down the other day, and I remembered one day last year feeling quite similar to how I was feeling then and was thinking back about how the Lord had sent me a beautiful rainbow that day as a sign that He IS faithful and that He IS with me. As I was driving home from work feeling very discouraged the other day, I prayed and asked God to send me another rainbow like He had done for me last year. After I prayed I looked up and there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky!! (I was looking around in the sky before that and trust me, there was no rainbow before that!) It was absolutely incredible!! I just stand in awe of how great and mighty our God is!
As for some more good news, we will be moving fairly soon! Our house is coming along well, so we will hopefully be able to move in by the end of the fall or early winter. I can't believe it's actually really going to happen. :)

Recently, my sister Marianna and I had a booth for Bellissima at our Texas homeschool convention. It was actually the last booth we will be having for Bellissima. After much prayer, wise counsel, and having to face some facts, we prayerfully decided to close Bellissima. I would like to thank everyone who supported and encouraged us during our venture though! We learned so much through it all and I'm grateful the Lord brought us through it, but now we must realize everything has a time and a season.

As of now, I will continue babysitting and selling Avon. However, I am currently looking for another part time job, and am looking forward to what the Lord brings my way!
