I've been busy with work, babysitting, various activities, ministry, bridal showers, senatorial convention, (which by the way I'm going to state as an alternate delegate again!) and of course hanging out with friends and family and every day things around the house keep me very busy as well.
Anyway, I thought I would share some photos of a few of the things I've been up to lately.
This past Sunday we visited my grandpa who lives about 3 hrs. away.
L-R: Dad, Rebecca, Grandpa, Mom, me and Lea...
Same order as the one above, but Marianna took dad's place. :)
Recently, my mom, Lea and I made one of our traditional Italian meals--stuffed artichokes!
Here mom and I are prepping them...

And...tada! The finished product... :) So yummy!
Last Friday, we were invited to a formal dinner...it was lots of fun to dress up!
Here is a group pic....(click to enlarge)

Some of us girls... :)

After dinner we hung out at Town Sqaure...

The dress I'm wearing below, I got on clearance for $11.00!! I did have to add a little extra material and beading to make it come up a bit higher, but that wasn't too hard. I bought the gloves for a $1.00 and the shawl for $2.00 on Ebay. I love finding such good deals! :)

Madelyn and I....

I think they need a gandhi dot to complete their look. ;)

All the girls bundled together trying to stay warm while the guys sang some praise and worship songs....

soon we had a little crowd of people gathered around that we even got to witness to!

A few weeks ago our friend Cody got a group of friends together from our nursing home group. We had a fun time going to Fudruckers, Swirl, and just hanging out.
L-R: Adam, Michael, Cody, Alex, Emily, Lea, Marianna , me and Marci...

Some from the group wanted to go to a little car show thingy...so us girls just talked while we waited. :)

This past Saturday, I went to a precious friend (and role model) Tara's bridal shower. I'm so happy for her and her testimony of God's faithfulness in her love story!
This week I'm going to get a modest swim suit made with a pattern I bought from Fashionably Modest Patterns and I'm so excited! As most of you I'm sure would agree, finding a decent swim suit is SO hard! I was very thankful to find this pattern! I'm not that great of a seamstress, and I wasn't brave enough to sew the swimsuit myself, so I was able to find a very reasonably priced seamstress that will sew it for $20 or $25. I will try to post a picture when mine is sewn!

So, those are a few of the things I've been up to recently. I now have to get back to work and finish preparing an interview Marianna and I were asked to do for a Christian young ladies magazine, Imagine. We're sharing how we got started with our business Bellissima and also sharing a little about ourselves and our family. We'll be on the front cover of the April/May issue if you're interested in receiving this magazine.
Anyway, I better get to it before I have to leave soon to babysit!
Hope you are all doing well!

Hey! I absolutely LOVE your dress :) It looks fabulous! I know what you mean about finding modest swim suits, but there is a great site that sells really modest swimwear; http://www.limericki.com/
