Our name, Vessels of Honor, is from 2 Tim. 2:20-22:
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."-2 Tim. 2:20-22
We are striving to be clean and holy vessels of honor, set apart unto the Lord for His glory and purposes, that we may be known as women and girls who fear and love God greatly.
This past month has marked our two year anniversary, in which of course we had to have a party! ;)
From newspaper dresses, to a talent show, it all made for a rather divine evening!
Below is a group shot of us all in our *BeAuTifuL* newspaper dresses. ;)

Sarah and Marianna ~ Y'all are amazing!

A VERY special phone call from a very dear friend of Marianna's, "Queen Elizabeth" who joined us via teleconference.....

These girls were so talented!

I really enjoyed this as Heidi told the story behind the Hymn "It is Well With my Soul" as Hannah played her violin.

And then it was time for us to embarrass ourselves! We did the "Sisters" act from "White Christmas". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYZbgG4D2oA

Anna with her amazing photography!

Emily acting out a part from Pride and Prejudice. She's such a good little actress!

This skit was hilarious!
Marianna did her tap dance, which very sadly we don't have pictures of! :( Lea was busy video recording it, and I was changing for my next act, and Rebecca was on stage with Marianna doing a few parts of the dance with her. I hope though, to post the video of it on my blog soon.
Next was the most embarrassing..........The Hula Hoop Routine. I felt like such a crazy person doing it! It was all the crazier since I did it to the song "Wipe Out". LOL
*Note: I was sure to tell all the girls I wouldn't recommend hula hooping in front of guys! But since it was an all girls party we sure did get some great laughs over the routine! ;)
The four hoops around waist....

hula hooping around my neck......

This was my favorite step......

After this one, I had bruises on my arms! lol

Phew! Never knew hula hooping was such a work out! ;)
Anyway, now that I've posted about a gazillion pictures, all of you who asked about the video are probably wondering where it's at! I'm waiting for my dad to help download and edit some things. Sooo, as soon as I'm able to do that, I will be sure to post it. ~So stay tuned!

I really enjoyed your post! Your paper dresses are amazing! I'll have to try that with my daughters some rainy afternoon.
