Long Time No See.....

Hello Everyone,  It's been so long since I've last posted. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. :) Blogger has changed quite a bit too since I've last logged in. I guess blogging hasn't been on my top priority list, but perhaps that will change...the past few weeks I've been thinking about getting back into it....at least more often than every 6 months.  :)

I don't have much time today for a long post, but I guess I'll start with a few new pictures from last weekend ...

My sisters and I were able to go to a banquet last weekend to hear David Horowitz speak.  Here are a few pictures from that event.

(My first inclination was to tag everyone in the pictures....just remembered it wasn't Facebook though! ;)

This picture isn't from the same event, but I just came across it in my files and thought I would share it too since Rick Perry is running for president now. It was so fun getting getting to see him in person. :)


The next several pictures are with some of my sweet friends at the nursing home.

This is my friend Howard, and I. He is such a character and so funny. I was able to give him a Bible a few months ago as he is not a Christian. Please be in prayer that he would come to know the Lord. I want to see him in Heaven one day!

These are some other friends of ours with Mr. David...he loves to read his Bible and share it with others! 

This is my mom with Mr. Calvin. He is so kind and always smiling despite his pain. He definitely shows forth the joy of the Lord!


This little man was sporting his spiffy new shoes and yellow socks. :) (Is that cute or what?!)




Well, I think that's all for now...I am leaving for out of town bright and early tomorrow morning, so I should get to packin'. :)
