Outside My Window... is a wintery cloudy sky with bald tree tops against the fluffy white clouds.
I am thinking... about how many emails I need to reply to...and yet, I'm doing this instead. (The emails take a lot more thought than this, I guess.) :-p
I am thankful for... wonderful friends and family, and knowing that God is in control.
From the kitchen... I just got finished cleaning and scrubbing the remaining taffy off the floors and dishes from our taffy pull yesterday for VOH. I now have some chicken defrosting that I'll bake later and try this recipe for dinner. (I know, real healthy, right?!?) :-p
I am wearing... black workout pants with a blue sweater.
I am creating... a mess....always a mess, right?!? ;)
I am going... NO WHERES! (at least, not that I know of.) I'm so enjoying this cozy little day at home with my mom. <3>
I am reading... My Bible, a devotional: Jesus is Calling, and I was fixing to read a book about our government, however, it seemed to have just grown legs and walked off. :(
I am hoping... to get a short nap in today and exercise.
I am hearing... music...coming from my shuffle. :)
Around the house... it's quite...only mom, Rebecca and I are home. Mom is studying her nutritional course, and Rebecca is probably creating some kind of something. :)
One of my favorite things... Beautiful days spent with family and friends.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... run some errands, do some BMB work, reply to emails, maybe meet a friend, go evangelize tomorrow evening, wash clothes, tidy room, organize some coupons, and maybe go to an evangelism training class and whatever else pops up.....we'll see!
The Lord is teaching me... So many things, as always. ;) How to trust Him more, rely on Him and know that He is in control. How to have a servant's heart and to serve others. How to be patient and kind when things don't go my way.
